About Us

The Brain Injury Association of Nevada (BIAN) is an affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA), the country’s oldest and largest nationwide brain injury advocacy organization. The Brain Injury Association of America was founded by individuals who wanted to improve the quality of life for their family members and patients who had sustained brain injuries. The Brain Injury Association of Nevada continues to strive toward these goals.

Our Vision

We, the Brain Injury Association of Nevada, envision a world where every brain injury is prevented and where every injury is met with impassioned advocacy, extraordinary services, knowledgeable professionals, and quality choices. We work toward a Nevada where everyone recognizes brain injury, its causes and effects, and where all individuals living with brain injury are encouraged to realize their full potential and their value to our community.

Our Mission

The mission of the Brain Injury Association of America, as well as The Brain Injury Association of Nevada (BIAN), is to be the voice of brain injury. Through advocacy, education and research, we bring help, hope and healing to millions of individuals living with brain injury, their families and the professionals who serve them.
